Easy for God to attract them unto Jesus; man thinks neither
June 17, 2007
There are about One Billion Six Hundred Million Muslims all over the world. It is a non offensive responsibility for every christians who experienced salvation to evangelise Muslims unto the redeeming love of Jesus Christ and winning them unto His fold.
Do not think all of the muslims are terrorists. Never. One out of 100,000 is a terrorist. In fact, the majority do not know what is real faith. Now is the time to reach them Gospel.
Rev & Mrs. Paul Ciniraj reaching Gospel to the Muslims
If we don't convey the Gospel of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to the Muslims because of our prejuidice, I'd say it's one of the Satan's trick against doing our devine duty to save them from sin and iniquities to the eternal life. Bible says, "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die; because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul" (Ezekiel 3:18-21).
We may think it is a great risk, great task and most dangerous. No! It is easy for God. Our Lord will guide the ways and fill with the Holy Spirit for those who are having a deep burden about the lost souls.
If a spirit filled christian cannot go for evangelisation, they can continuously praying for the people of Muslim world to be saved. Prayer is the important part of the ministry. And also another important part is that you support the ministers who are involving with this great task. By your helps, you are partaking to send missionaries. That is rewardable unto God.
Paul Ciniraj donating Urdu Bible to a family
Who will ready to go to reach them Gospel? Or who will ready to send somebody instead of you to spread Gospel among those people?
Paul says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me" (Phil 4:13). So don't think either. Come forward with dedication and prayers. Holy Spirit will guide you.
The Salem Voice Ministries evangelising Muslim nations in Asia, Africa and Middle East. There are about 500 evangelists ministering among Muslims in these continents. A vast number of Muslims finding the truth and attaining Salvation of Jesus Christ day by day.
"More Muslims converted to faith in Jesus Christ over the past decade than at any other time in human history. A spiritual revolution is underway throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. As a result, a record number of ex-Muslims are celebrating Christmas this year, despite intense persecution, assassinations, and widespread church bombings." Thease are the words of Joel C. Rosenberg, the author of the New York Times best selling political thrillers, The Last Jihad (2002), The Last Days (2003), The Ezekiel Option (2005), and The Copper Scroll (2006), with more than one million copies in print.
He said, he and his wife and kids were lived in the Mideast for three months. During that time, he had the privilege of interviewing more than three dozen Arab and Iranian pastors and evangelical leaders throughout the region. The picture they paint is one of Christianity being dramatically resurrected in the region of its birth.
More than 10,000 muslims accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour throughout India during the last year. The Bible Society of India publishing thousands of New Testaments for the Muslims with their own terminology and vocabulary in different Indian languages and Tazi language. Rev. Paul Ciniraj Mohamed, the Director of the Salem Voice Ministries and also the President of the Christian Ministers of the Churches of India (CMCI) is one of the key persons of the Bible translators of the Bible Society of India to reach the Gospel to the Muslims.
Recently Salem Voice Ministries had a conference in Malabar in India attended a huge crowed including a majority of believers in Jesus Christ from the Muslim community.
Audiance of a meeting
"Persecuted Christians soon willingly forget hardships and forgive torture and beatings they have experienced when they see the unlimited number of lost souls who are coming to Christ and experiencing Salvation", That was the thrust of inagural message by Rev. Paul Ciniraj Mohamed, who was also a Muslim by birth, but became a Christian years ago. Since then he and his family have survived several attempts on their lives.
Paul Ciniraj likened the experience of these believers to that of a woman forgetting the intense pain of labor during childbirth, and rejoicing when she sees the baby she has given birth to. He said Christian missionaries to the Muslim world and converts to Christianity from Islam are facing severe persecution around the globe.
"Many Christians persecuted, murdered, shot dead, burnt to death, stabbed to death, stoned to death, sentenced to death, beaten, kidnapped, arrested, imprisonment, lost houses, lost children and families. But their blood is becoming the seed of the church and millions upon millions converting to Christianity day by day." Ciniraj added.
He continued: "There are about one billion and six hundred million Muslims all over the world. You may think is it possible to evangelize them? Yes! It is possible and within few years all of the Muslim nations will accept Jesus as Lord. Because our Lord 'is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, ' " (2 Peter 3:9).
Each and every believer must possess a missionary spirit to convey the Gospel of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to the Muslims without pride, prejudice and fear, Ciniraj said.
He described how Salem Voice Ministries approach Muslims with the Gospel.
"Allah and Yahweh are not the same God," he said. "If one did not believe in Jesus as the living God then it is impossible to say they are the same God. We, the Christians must be clear that Muslims believe in Jesus, although not the same exact Jesus of the Bible, and (must) be direct and unabashed about our faith when we witness to Muslims."
Ciniraj said the Islamic concept of Jihad is prescribed in both the Koran and Hadith, "But there are some specific protocols in Islam, like women do not carry out Jihad. And also Islam has a lower view of woman than Christianity.
"Although Jesus is acknowledged in the Koran, it has a low view of Jesus. He is portrayed as only human, not as the Savior. According to Islam, Jesus never died on the cross but was replaced by someone before he was crucified. And Islam has a low view of the Bible too," Ciniraj said.
Islam does not believe in religious freedom, he said. "Iit is the most work-based religion in the world. A Muslim works hard to do good deeds and hope that Allah will like him and allow him to go to Heaven when he dies -- but there are no guarantees. And Islam is divided among denominations."
Millions are coming to faith in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, Ciniraj said. "It is mainly because of eternal security. And also they are attracted by the unconditional love and intimacy with God offered in Christianity."
In his report to the conference, Pastor Shaji Ipe, the General Secretary of the Salem Voice Ministries, it was stated that about 500 missionaries are laboring for the Gospel in Muslim-populated countries of Asia, Africa and Middle East and 291 home churches (213 in India and 78 in other nations) gathering weekly as part of its umbrella organization.
"They approach Muslims with prayer and the divine love of Jesus Christ. Firstly they find out and visit depressed families which have any of its members held in prison or have long term sickness. Usually they won't get enough care and love from the neighbors or relatives, but are criticized and abused unnecessarily," Ipe siad.
"(Our) missionaries show them real love with counseling, nurturing, clothing, medications and healing. They assist those families by cleaning the house, cooking the food, bathing the sick, etc. They make concrete relationships with each of the families. At the same time they keep good relationships with neighboring families too. And they gather together children and adults to share with them stories and fun. In this way they start Bible classes and worship services," Ipe continued in his report.
"We do charitable works by giving education to the poor children; running orphanages; building houses for homeless; supplying medicines, clothes and food for the needy; establishing mobile dispensaries for the slums, interior villages and hill places," Ipe said. "We run computer schools for the youth, tailoring and binding schools for the widows and poor women. We provide monthly scholarships for the poor nursing students as well as university and technical students."
"Salem Voice Ministries established on 1983 by the name "Injil Ministries Alliance Mission" alias "IMAM Gospel Mission". Many years it was involved with conducting Gospel campaigns under the leadership of Paul Ciniraj Mohamed throughout India by the name "IMAM Gospel Campaigns" in co-operation with churches and prayer fellowships of various denominations. Main preachers of the campaigns were converted Christians from Muslim and Hindu backgrounds. Thousands upon thousands inspired and accepted Jesus as personal saviour from those campaigns. The name of the mission has been changed as "SALEM VOICE MINISTRIES" on 1995", Shaji Ipe said.
According to the research of Prof. Ilyas Ba Yunus, Al Jazeera.net, a leading Islamic TV channel, reported that six million Muslims are converting to Christianity in Africa every year, Ipe said.
"Thousands of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, North African, Kashmiri, Indian, Central and South Asian Muslims turn to Christ. Around 50,000 youngsters ex-communicated from Islam in Malaysia because of their Christian faith. Some 35,000 Turks converted to Christianity last year. A vast number of Mullahs and Imams accepted Christ. Two million ethnic Muslims converted to Christianity in Russia. 200,000 UK Muslims and 10,000 French Muslims also converted to Christianity," he said.
In Iraq, more than 5,000 Muslim converts to Christianity have been identified since the end of major combat operations, with 14 new churches opened in Baghdad, and dozens of new churches opened in Kurdistan, some of which have 500 to 800 members. Also, more than one million Bibles shipped into the country since 2003, and pastors report Iraqis are snatching them up so fast they constantly need more Bibles.
Thousands of Muslims turned to Christ and worshipping Lord Jesus in Morocco, Somalia, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, Bengladesh, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Maldievs.
Around a million believed in Jesus over the past decade in Egypt. The Egyptian Bible Society used to sell about 3,000 copies of the JESUS film a year in the early 1990s. As per the figures taken from the Millennium campaign in 2000, they sold 600,000 copies, plus 750,000 copies of the individual cassette tapes (in Arabic) and about a half million copies of the Arabic New Testament. Ramez Atallah, the General Secretary of the Bible Society of Egypt informed Pastor Paul Ciniraj by email. "Egyptians are increasingly hungry for God's Word," he said.
There were only 17 christians from Islam in Afganistan on 2001. But there are more than 10,000 believers at present. Every week dozens of baptisms being held there.
In 1990, there were only three known Christians in Kazakistan and no christians in Uzbekistan, but now more than 15,000 in Kazakistan and 30, 000 in Uzbekistan. There were only 500 Christians in Iran on 1979, but more than one million Iranians believing Jesus Christ today, most of whom meet in underground house churches.
In Sudan, more than one million have converted since 2000, and some 5 million have become Christians since the early 1990s, despite a radical Islamic regime and an on-going genocide that has killed more than 200,000. Seminaries are being held in caves to train pastors to shepherd the huge numbers of people coming to Christ. Why such a dramatic spiritual awakening? "People have seen real Islam, and they want Jesus instead," one Sudanese evangelical leader said.
In December 2001, Sheikh Ahmad al Qataani, a leading Saudi cleric, appeared on a live interview on Aljazeera satellite television to confirm that, sure enough, Muslims were turning to Jesus in alarming numbers. "In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity," Al Qataani warned. "Every day, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity."
Stunned, the interviewer interrupted the cleric. "Hold on! Let me clarify. Do we have six million converting from Islam to Christianity?" Al Qataani repeated his assertion. "Every year," the cleric confirmed, adding, "a tragedy has happened."
One of the most dramatic developments is that many Muslims -- including Shiites in Iran and Iraq -- are seeing dreams and visions of Jesus and thus coming into churches explaining that they have already converted and now need a Bible and guidance on how to follow Jesus. This is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy of Joel, "in the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days....And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." (Joel 2:28-32).
Lee DeYoung of Words of Hope says that the interest in Christianity is growing in the Middle East. Other media ministries concur, pointing to the many Muslims who have come to Christ through Christian satellite TV and radio broadcasts. Most of these new believers are young and passionate about their faith, but out of fear of persecution they remain as "secret believers".
Within few years all of the Muslim nations will come to Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit. Satan knows it, that's why he tries to discourage and destroy the Christian workers and the believers through the persecution and brutal murdering. But our Lord Jesus will have the final victory. Rev. Paul Ciniraj Mohamed said.
Idris Salahudeen, Pastor of an Underground Church of the Salem Voice Ministries in the Middle East said, hundreds upon hundreds ordinary muslims believing Jesus and secretly converting into Christianity from the Middle East by seeing brutal behaviour of fundamentalists towards Christians. Maybe this torturing is a purification of nominal Christians to have more faith and courage too.
