Christian believers severly attacked in Kashmir

Shopian (Jammu & Kashmir in India), SVM News, April 15, 2007: Families who believe in Jesus Christ from Muslim community and gathering for prayers at Gundi Pora village in Shopian District of Jammu and Kashmir in India were attacked by the militants on Friday, the 13th of April late night.

Some of them injured and women and children were abused. But the people afraid to say what exactly was happened.

There are very few families believing in Jesus Christ.

By their talk to Pastor Paul Ciniraj, Salem Voice Ministries News Service found  that they were shivering with fear. Women and children were crying. Everybody afraid to say what exactly was happened.

"We doubt, some one of their members might have been kidnapped or brutally murdered", Paul Ciniraj said.

Suspecting the attackers belong to the militant group of Lashker-eh-Toyiba.

Pray for those families.
